Deep Core Data’s Year in Review
Good afternoon, friends! Today, we are going to take a look back at the year and share what we’ve accomplished together as a company and community. Read on to learn more about what’s been making 2015 a great year for Deep Core Data.
Bigger and Better
If we had to pick one word to describe the company this year, it would have to be “Growth.” Here at Deep Core Data, we’ve been growing in leaps and bounds, in almost every aspect of business. This year alone, we were able to onboard three new employees, each of whom brings with them their own expertise and experience.
Rhiannon Chiacchiaro, Head of Marketing and Documentation

Rhiannon came on board in March, in order to fill the increasing need for a full time documentation expert. A writer/editor for over 10 years, she quickly jumped into the task of preparing client technical documents, as well as restarting the company blog. Over time, she’s taken on additional responsibilities in terms of marketing, sales, and business development.
Andrew Sonstrom, Technical Writer and Blogger
As demand for high quality documentation (one of our most popular services) continued to rise, we decided to bring on an additional technical writer. Andrew, who has a creative writing background, joined the team in August, and has been quick to learn exactly what it takes to create valuable technical documentation. He also writes and manages many of the blog posts you read.

Conor Walsh, Senior Developer
Conor is the latest addition to the DCD family, having joined our ranks in September. As an experienced programmer and software developer, he has been instrumental in helping take care of some of our clients’ more specialized requests. He can usually be found at WeWork or WorkBar in Boston, and is always happy to meet and connect with other tech-minded folks and startup entrepreneurs.
Valuable Connections
This year, we were lucky to begin and maintain relationships with all sorts of interesting companies. From web apps to eDiscovery, our clients are using cutting edge technologies and progressive ways of thinking to innovate and excite. Being able to interact with some of their customers has been a pleasure, and a valuable learning opportunity. Thanks to our growing network of clients and client customers, we’ve been exposed (or re-exposed in some cases) to a variety of industries, such as pharmaceuticals, retail, government, defense, and even professional sports. We’re excited to continue working with our clients and learning about them and their customers.
We were also thrilled to begin sponsoring a wonderful nonprofit called Resilient Coders. Headed up by David Delmar, Resilient Coders invites youth from underrepresented areas of Boston to join their afterschool and summer camp programs. There, the students learn to code from scratch, building websites and applications to solve real world problems. It has been an honor to be involved with the group, and to help them continue educating these gifted and hard working young programmers.
Looking Forward to the Next Year
Overall, 2015 has been a very positive year for Deep Core Data. We hope to continue growing in the future, and bringing our services to more companies who are itching to bring their ideas to the world market. We’d like to thank all of our clients, partners, and associates who have give us the opportunity to provide excellent service throughout the year. We’re looking forward to working with you in 2016!
